SAMANTHA HARRISON

Soprano soloist Samantha Harrison is an avid recitalist, chamber musician, and music educator in the Central Valley. She enjoys collaborating with musicians in a variety of styles and performs locally with Music with Strings Attached.

Ms. Harrison has performed operatic roles and ensemble with the CSU Stanislaus Opera Program and the Townsend Opera Company of Modesto (Opera Modesto). Her opera studies have taken her coast to coast; participating in the Fairbanks Opera Summer Program of Alaska and performing a Boston premiere opera with The Harvard Early Music Society.

She keeps an active schedule teaching voice and piano lessons in person and online, as well as the ‘Prelude Classes’ preschool music and movement classes at SayLa. She has a passion for music and strives to instill that same passion in her students.

A native of Salinas, CA, Ms. Harrison received her Master of Music in Historical Performance from Boston University, and earned a BM in Vocal Performance from CSU Stanislaus. When not performing or teaching music, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, gardening, and painting.
