Mateo Ruiz (Intern)

Mateo started his musical career in high school, playing saxophone around his hometown of Tracy, CA. He currently attends University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music as a Jazz Studies major. His future plans after college are to continue his education by pursuing a masters degree in Jazz Studies. 

Mateo is a proficient saxophonist in both Jazz and classical music training, and he can be seen playing locally in the central valley. He holds a deep passion for teaching music as he believes music education is a vital skill for anyone, from the musical hobbyist to a serious music student.
