Emma Little

 
 

As a soprano with degrees in Vocal Music and Business Administration from Walla Walla University, Emma Little embraces a wide range of vocal and collaborative genres. She has learned from an array of musicians such as Christine Janis, Kraig Scott, Steven Zork, Andrew Jacobson and Reginald Unterseher. Emma has earned recognition in numerous competitions, including the Northwest Musicians Young Artist Competition, NATS Intermountain Region Student Auditions, and Walla Walla Young Artist Night.

Throughout her collegiate career, Emma has been actively involved in both solo and ensemble performance. She has appeared in Walla Walla University productions such as “Emma” the Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Broadway in Love, and A Grand Night for Singing. Engaging in solo and ensemble work, she has performed in venues such as First United Methodist Church of San Diego, St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral of Seattle, Walla Walla University Church, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York.

Emma’s sense of belonging within music has been shaped by diverse and meaningful experiences. Whether creating luminous harmonies with a select choir or building confidence in a student through private vocal instruction, these moments have continually reaffirmed her passion for teaching and the lasting impact of strong relationships. She is committed to fostering an empowering learning environment where students can discover both their voices and their potential.
